From time to time the centre is able to schedule periodic spiritual retreats. As the SRF Mother Center reminds us, participating in a retreat “offers members the opportunity to withdraw temporarily from the many activities and pressures of daily life and to come together to fully dedicate a day or two to practicing the presence of God, spiritual study, and relaxing physically and mentally through deep meditation. The united concentration and devotion of the group reinforces each individual’s endeavours to develop a more personal relationship with God. Through one-pointed spiritual effort, each member can attain greater attunement with God and Guru, and experience deep calmness and joy. Body, mind, and soul are rejuvenated as one becomes more aware of the receptive to the healing power of God that lies within.”
You will be very welcome to join with us on these retreats, detailed below. The contacts given are for retreat information, all other London Centre enquiries should please be addressed to Jane Ingram or Ian Kendall.

The London Centre in the YOGA Magazine
"... Tucked away in an unassuming street in
the heart of the capital is a former Welsh
chapel, now home to SRF’s London Centre.
It is an oasis of peace and calm amongst the
hordes of tourists that descend on the area
to visit the famous waxworks of Madame
Tussaud’s and Regent’s Park, one of the city’s
largest areas of greenery. Yogananda visited
England in 1935-36, and some of those who
attended his lectures and yoga classes began
to meet for regular meditation services and
the London branch was born ..." Full Article
